Crying Tiger Sauce Recipe

Also known as suea rong hai, traditionally crying tiger beef is made with brisket. Our marinade can be used on any cut of beef, but we choose a flat iron for the tenderness of the meat paired with the bolder flavor!

Gather your ingredients: Flat iron steak filets Brown sugar Soy sauce Fish sauce Lime juice Vegetable oil Garlic, minced Black pepper

Mix together all marinade ingredients and let the beef marinate for at least one hour

We’re dying to return back to Thailand for another getaway, but in the meantime, we’ve been cooking Thai food at home

This dish is great served on rice with fresh slices of cucumber and herbs and a dollop of coconut cream to tame the spiciness of the dish!

We also  stuffed some of the tiger cry steak into baguettes for a Thai twist on a Vietnamese banh mi. Now that’s what we call Asian fusion!
