This massive steak cut is full of flavor and known for its signature, large bone-in profile.

This cut of meat is perfect for a special occasion like a birthday or anniversary gift or can be made any time you’re looking to have a steakhouse experience at home!

We found the best way to cook a tomahawk steak is by using the reverse sear method.

You start by cooking it lower and slower and finish with a  hot sear.

Start by cooking the meat at 225 degrees F until the steak reaches 125 degrees F internal temp. This should take roughly 45 minutes.

Once the steak comes to temp, remove it from the heat & crank the grill up as hot as it goes!

Sear the meat for about 1 minute on each side to create a nice char and texture on the exterior of the steak.

Be sure to let the steak rest for 10 minutes and slice across the grain before serving.
