How to Make Blackberry Pie

Start with frozen blackberries

While defrosting add lemon zest and sugar

Start cutting your dough

Fill with berries when defrosted

We went with heart shaped baking dishes

We also used a lattice cutter for some of our pies

Before baking use an egg wash

Top with turbinado sugar

Pull the pies when dough is golden brown

These pies are tasty

Enjoy with ice cream
