We love bourbon, we love dessert, so you know we REALLY love this brown sugar bourbon cake glaze!
We learned about Heritage Distilling via Instagram when we saw a photo of their seriously epic advent calendar.
For the past two years, we celebrated (and we mean really celebrated) throughout December by opening up a random mini bottle of booze each and every day.
This is also what introduced us to Heritage Distilling’s Brown Sugar Bourbon.
We’ve been major bourbon aficionados ever since our trip to Louisville, Kentucky. Their Brown Sugar Bourbon is a sweet and smooth take on the spirit.
We especially love it during the fall and winter months and it is perfect to cook with!
The flavor of the bourbon paired with the essence of brown sugar makes it great for BBQ, marinades, and especially desserts!
You can find Heritage Distilling Brown Sugar Bourbon in liquor stores across many states in the US (here in Texas, we pick it up at Total Wine & More).
This store locator will also tell you where their products are available near you.
This sweet and velvety sauce can be used on homemade or store-bought cinnamon rolls, pumpkin bars, bundt cakes, pancakes, you name it!
You might even want to double the batch just so you have more icing to lick off of the spoon!
We usually don’t love powdered sugar icing, but the addition of the bourbon, butter, and cinnamon makes a big difference in overall taste.
We know you’ll enjoy it too!
