Asian Meatball Recipe with Sriracha Hoisin Glaze

Sharing is caring!

Our Asian meatball recipe is the meal you’ve been missing!

Why does spaghetti get to have all the meatball fun?! We love these Asian meatballs because they are SO flavorful.

Sticky, garlicky, sweet, with just a kiss of spice, the sauce really shines with this dish.

Our hoisin meatballs have an added kick of flavor with spicy sriracha and savory toasted sesame oil. If you love hoisin don’t miss this hoisin pork tenderloin.

You could even turn this recipe into Asian pork meatballs, Asian chicken meatballs, or Asian turkey meatballs. GRab the ground meat of your choice and start rollin’. literally.

This Asian meatballs recipe can be served as an appetizer (hello gameday super snack!) or as a meal.

We like to top the hoisin meatballs on an Asian rice bowl, but they would also shine in a lettuce wrap, on rice noodles, or on a Vietnamese bahn mi.

Cast Iron Meatballs

We’re making this recipe in a cast iron skillet as a one-pot wonder for a weeknight meal.

It can also be easily made in cast iron on a grill or fire for a unique camping recipe.

We love the char the cast iron adds to the outside of the meatball.

If you have an airfryer, we also highly recommend trying out our air fryer meatball recipe

Just cook these meatballs in the airfryer then toss with the sauce in a skillet for a few minutes afterward.

Asian Bowl with Hoisin Meatballs

We used our Asian meatball recipe on top of an Asian rice bowl to stretch the meatballs even further and to add in veggies.

In order to make our Asian bowl recipe start by making our meatballs. While they are cooking in the skillet, start to prep your Asian rice bowl ingredients.

Steam some jasmine rice and shelled edamame.

We also added some fresh veggies to our Asian bowl like sliced cucumbers, julienned sweet red bell pepper, and shaved carrot strips.
