People often think of yogurt parfaits as a breakfast or snack recipe, but this Blueberry Cobbler Yogurt Parfait recipe will even make you crave it for dessert!
The toasty granola and roasted blueberries pair perfectly with the tart, FAGE Total 0% plain Greek yogurt.
Serve up a bowl of this cozy dish and curl up with a cozy blanket at home.
FAGE Total 0% plain Greek yogurt is one of our favorite yogurts.
We often use the plain Greek yogurt as an ingredient to our savory recipes as well, since it has no added sugar. It contains only naturally occurring milk sugar, and is made with only milk and live active yogurt cultures.
It is a protein-rich, lower-calorie substitute to mayo or sour cream due to its creamy texture and taste.
Blueberries were available at our market while we were whipping up the yogurt parfait, but we’re sure this recipe would be AMAZING if you used cherries or peaches as well.
FAGE Total 0% plain Greek yogurt is so versatile, any fruit or nut combination is going to be a surefire winner.
Roasted Blueberry Cobbler Yogurt Parfait
Makes 2 parfait bowls
Ingredients:
4 cups of plain Greek yogurt
1 cup of plump blueberries, washed and sliced in half
2 tbsp brown sugar
½ tsp cinnamon
½ cup of homemade or store bought granola
1 tbsp of agave sweetener
Slice your fruit in half and toss it in a bowl with the sugar and cinnamon.
Let the fruit sit for about 5 minutes so they become slightly juicy.
Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and sprinkle the blueberries on the pan.
Roast at 400 degrees for 4-5 minutes.
Keep an eye on the berries, they’re small so they roast quickly!
Fill your bowl with FAGE Total 0% plain Greek yogurt, then spoon on the roasted blueberries.
Top with a drizzle of agave and sprinkle with granola.
If you’re using pre-made or store-bought granola, you may want to consider warming it up in an oven for a few minutes prior to serving. It helps to bring out the flavors of the cinnamon and makes it feel even more like a warm cobbler.
