Our recipe for sugar free brownies will replace your store bought brownie mix and fool all your friends.
There’s so many types of brownie recipes, and our favorite brownie is fudgy, not overly sweet, and a good hit of chocolate.
This sugar free brownie recipe hits all of those notes and pairs perfectly with milk, whip cream, or ice cream.
What’s in Brownie Mix?
Want to know a little secret?
The rows of brownie boxed mixes in the supermarket? They’re all mainly just flour, sugar, and cocoa powder. That’s it!
So why not make your own brownie mix at home and cut out the junk?
Our favorite way to start is by replacing the sugar in your brownie mix with Purecane Sweetener.
By just taking sugar out of your standard brownie recipe you’ll cut out a whopping 1,325 calories and 400g of sugar in your single pan on brownies. This is why we LOVE Purecane.
The best part about our sugar free brownie recipe is the fact that if you make them for your family or friends they’ll never even guess that you replaced the sugar.
How to Make Brownies
Don’t be overwhelmed by the thought of making brownies from scratch.
If you have ever made boxed brownies, it’s the same process, only you’ll start by mixing your dry ingredients together to essentially create your brownie mix first.
Once your brownie mix is together, you’ll add in your wet ingredients.
When using a sweetener vs. sugar, we like to add a bit more butter into the recipe because we think the rich flavor of the butter compliments the sugar free brownie mix.
These sugar free brownies will make your whole house smell delicious in the oven. When you pull them out of the oven you will want to take a bite, but we recommend sprinkling a high-end flake sea salt over the top and letting them cool.
