Stay in a Romantic Chateau at Paradise Ranch
The Knotty and Nice Chalet at the Paradise Ranch and Retreat is the ultimate spot for a romantic stay. Although this 2,800 square foot home sleeps 8, it oozes romance for a fall getaway.
Watch the foliage fall through the large picture windows and take in the crisp, fresh air on the screened in patio.

There are even shuffleboard and skeeball tables in the game room if you’re looking for entertainment!

Spend your free time hand-in-hand taking hikes around the trails at Paradise Ranch
We even went on an ATV tour through the trails with the owners!

Go on a Wine Tasting at Wilde Wine Co
Wilde Wine Co. is a boutique wine shop and liquor store in downtown Springfield.
It has become quite the community hub!
Every Saturday at 4pm, the owner offers a free wine tasting highlighting a number of wines available for purchase at the store.
We arrived a little early, and it wasn’t long until the seats were packed with locals.

Records were spinning on the turntable and eclectic decor like a deer mount wearing a chain adorned the walls as we sipped four different wines.
The owner, who used to work in California wine country, put a focus on affordable wines for the holidays during our visit.

Every single wine we tasted was delicious and hand selected with care from his WSET 3 sommelier expertise.
If you’re looking for something stronger than wine they also have a selection of craft liquors.

Have a Romantic Meal at Mystic Picnic
Mystic Picnic is the place for dinner and a movie in one! It’s one of the most romantic things to do in Springfield, TN.
The back dining room features a movie screen, which makes it a unique and intimate place for a romantic meal.

If you’re looking for something a bit cozier, sit at the bar to enjoy a craft cocktail or glass of wine.
They even offer a bell witch hour, which is their equivalent of happy hour. It is a nod to the infamous Bell Witch which was known to haunt the countryside in Robinson County in old wise tales.

We loved the burger that uses local beef as well as the halibut fish that was topped with a luscious sauce and fish roe.

Eat Like the Locals at The Depot
If you follow the locals, you’ll end up at the Depot Bar and Grill.
The Depot is likely the most popular restaurant in Springfield, Tennessee. If you arrive and there is a slight wait, don’t fret.

Pop your name on the list and walk across the street to BS Brew Works for a refreshing drink while you wait.
The Depot is known for steaks, but we savored the burger which uses beef from a local farm.
The burger was juicy and packed with beefy goodness.

Enjoy a Brunch Date at Public House
We dined at Public House for brunch and were WOW’d by the quality of the cocktails coming from this cozy and unassuming local bar and restaurant.
The Banana Bread cocktail featured spiced rum, white creme de cacao, banana liquor, egg whites, walnut bitters and nutmeg.

The pork nachos were incredible and HUGE. The pork comes from the local Bernard Farms.
There was smoky, juicy and tender meat loaded on top of crispy tortilla chips.
The nachos are piled high with both beer cheese and melted cheese, plus pickled onions, jalapeno and garlic aioli.

Even the side salads served at the Public House were impressive.
Fresh greens were topped with sweet, dried cranberries and flavorful cheese and were served with a warm, homemade bacon vinaigrette.

Another popular menu item is the baked spaghetti.
This dish is comfort food in a piping hot bowl covered in melted cheese, how could you go wrong?!

Share a Flight at BS Brew Works
Taste your way through local brews at BS Brew Works, located across the street from The Depot.
This brewery features a number of beer varieties.
