Our apple pie drink recipe with vodka tastes like a slice of apple pie.
What could be a better seasonal cocktail?
This apple pie drink is a great beverage to serve during the fall because it tastes like liquid apple pie!
Warm cinnamon perfectly complements the crisp apples in this delicious fall cocktail.
Make this drink after a trip to the apple orchard when you have some fresh pressed apple cider.
Or plan on making this apple pie cocktail as a welcome cocktail for Thanksgiving dinner or a Christmas party.
It’s a great addition to the holiday season!
Flavored Vodka for this Apple Pie Drink
We used traditional, plain vodka for this easy recipe and it was perfect, but there are a few things you can do to add in even more flavor if you want to.
Consider using some flavored vodkas for the easiest way to bring out the apple flavor even more.
Your local liquor store should have a variety of vodkas of different flavors.
Swapping out the regular vodka with half green apple vodka and half vanilla vodka is one way to do just that.
How to Infuse Apple Pie Vodka
You could also infuse your own flavored vodka if you plan far enough ahead.
Just add plain vodka to a large mason jar with apple slices and a cinnamon stick to make homemade apple pie vodka.
Not only does it add to your apple pie cocktail, it also makes a great gift if you add a festive ribbon and a recipe card for your homemade apple pie moonshine recipe.
Cute Ice Cubes for your Apple Pie Drink
If you plan ahead, purchase some silicone ice cube molds to create these adorable ice cubes.
We simply stuffed some star anise pods and cloves into the ice mold, then filled with water.
All the magic happened overnight!
These ice cubes are seasonal, festive, and add additional flavor to your cocktail.
How fun is that?
Festive Rim for Apple Pie Drink Recipe with Vodka
We like to make a rim that tastes like a pie crust!
We’re not kidding, we were licking the rim clean because this spiced graham cracker rim is insanely tasty.
On a shallow plate, mix together crushed graham crackers, ground apple pie spice, and turbinado sugar.
Dip your glass into honey, then dip the rim of your glass with the graham cracker mixture.
If you’re running low on ingredients you can also just rim the glass with simple syrup and dip in brown sugar too.
Variations of this Apple Pie Drink Recipe with Vodka
- Make it Hot – Omit the ginger beer, increase the recipe and warm up the apple cider, vodka, vanilla, apple slices, cinnamon sticks, and star anise pots in a large pot for a warm and cozy cocktail. Just use add a ladle and use the saucepan as a makeshift punch bowl!
- Make it a Shot – Skip the ginger beer and just pour the apple pie cocktail from the shaker right into a shot glass for a festive, delicious shot for your next Christmas party.
- Make it a Martini – Omit the ginger beer and just pour the apple pie cocktail from the shaker right to a martini glass for an apple pie spin on one of our favorite classic cocktails.
- Make it with Cinnamon Whiskey – if you’re a whiskey lover, add in an additional shot of Fireball Whiskey to the cocktail. It adds even more of a strong cinnamon flavor.
