2024 ACL Lineup for Food – What’s New and Tasty

Austin City Limits is approaching once again, and as always we’re most psyched for the release of the ACL Lineup for food!

Austin City Limits’ music festival spans over the course of two weekends and is showcasing headliners like newcomer sensation Chappell Roan, iconic punk band Blink 182, and country star Chris Stapleton.

The festival is running October 4th through 6th for weekend one and October 11th through 13th for weekend two.

We’re most excited to see Teddy Swims, Khruangbin, Leon Bridges and Benson Boone.

In between those sets were looking forward to noshing our way through all the delicious bites from ACL Eats!

Changes to the 2023 ACL lineup of Food Vendors:

When it comes to food vendors at the 2024 Austin City Limits music festival, overall the offerings of vendors grew substantially and only a few vendors are no longer offered.

The biggest change last year was the absence of the Mighty Cone, which raged to popularity from ACL in years past.

We’re happy to share that they partnered with another restaurant in order to return once again for 2024.

Their iconic deep fried batter that encased shrimp, chicken, and avocado all wrapped up in a tortilla cone was the perfectly portable ACL snack..

Picole, Underdog, Mister Softee, Brotherton’s BBQ, and Shake Shack are the only vendors not returning to ACL this year after debuting for the first time in 2023.

Mmmmpanadas is also a vendor who has been at ACL for a few years who is not returning.

There are a number of new vendors this year, 28 to be exact!

Some of these vendors are only offered in areas like GA+ or VIP, while some are in the general ACL Eats area.

Cocktails at Austin City Limits Festival

In 2023, ACL debuted cocktails in the General Admission area!

Previously the only way to access hard liquor at ACL was to have access to a lounge. Cocktails can be found at bars around the ACL grounds and there will be some alcohol-specific activations.

Don’t miss the activation for Tito’s Vodka once again. Try your skills at the claw machine game to win a chance to win a Tito’s lounge wristband!

In past years we have had the chance to join in on the fun at the Tito’s lounge which included free cocktails, food, massages, hair braiding services and tattoos and body glitter.

Another option for American Express cardholders is to access the Am Ex lounge behind the American Express stage. This gives you access to a bar with free drink tickets and free food vouchers.

Keep in mind that even though ACL Music Festival technically takes place in the fall, it is usually still quite steamy in Austin, Texas!
